Out of the vast clouds of space, a mother cat watches over her new little star. The kitten star is small, but it will grow to have its own solar system. The mother nebula may not be around forever, but her children will live in her memory.
This cat sun is the fourth of five in my Cat Galaxy series. This image represents a nebula, where most stars are formed from billowing clouds of space material. The stars then form their own solar systems and eventually become their own galaxy.
The original is oil paint and oil colored pencils on 4x4 inch wood circle.
